SHAH KOT: A man along with his son was killed in a road accident in Shah Kot.
Sources said that a retired officer, Ghulam Muhammad along with his son Muhammad Iqbal, residents of Wali Pur Bora was on their way back to native village from Adda Punnoon after purchasing vegetables. They were trying to cross a truck coming from a hotel, near Pannu Adda, on Sheikhupura Faisalabad G.T Road and in the meantime, a speedy car hit with them.
As a result, both died on the spot while the driver managed to escape from the scene.
Rescue 1122 shifted the dead bodies into nearby local hospital for medico-legal formalities and later handed over to family members.
