ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan on Saturday said that the upcoming general elections will be the most decisive polls in the country’s history.
“The general elections in 2018 will be the most decisive polls in the country’s history,” he said, adding that PTI will face the entire corrupt mafia of the country in the next elections.
Addressing a social media summit of the party in Islamabad, the PTI chief alleged that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) had spent huge money to get ahead in the social media race. “We will bring new ideas forward but I won’t share those now lest Maryam Nawaz copies them,” he said.
Imran said that the PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif had also started claiming that he will create a ‘naya Pakistan’ – a slogan PTI is known for.
Imran Khan said Maryam Nawaz lied about the Mayfair flats and the British Virgin Islands. He said the financial investigation agency’s documents confirm Maryam had no source of income and her father had laundered money in her name.
In posts on Twitter, the PTI chairman said Maryam Nawaz was the owner of the Mayfair properties. He said the British Virgin Islands documents have exposed the Qatri letter, the trust deed and other lies such as the Calibri font. The PTI chief that Maryam Nawaz lied to hide properties bought using tainted wealth that was stolen and made through corruption.
