KHANPUR: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan Wednesday said that the incumbent government would not complete its tenure and the next elections would be held soon.
“This government can go home before its time as there are many people within the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) who do not want to see Nawaz Sharif use the party to save his skin,” he said while talking to the media in Khanpur.
“If the government falls then we will demand elections within 90 days,” he said. “There are two laws, one that states that election should be held within 90 days and another according to which first delimitation would be held and then the country would go to the polls,” he said.
He said that elections should not be delayed at any cost.
Imran Khan claimed that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leaders were parting ways from Nawaz Sharif.
Imran Khan also talked about environment issue and said lives of people in Punjab were in danger due to pollution.
He claimed that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government had planted 1.18 billion trees, which no other government could do, and added that the government was fighting against timber mafia as well.
Pakistan can earn enough money through tourism, affirmed Imran.
